True North Family Foundation Priorities

Our funding priorities are driven by requests from True North Family of Companies team members.

Education

The True North Family Foundation is inspired to enable young people to have opportunities that could be out of reach. This includes scholarships at specific high schools of interest where students’ lives can be enriched – and their potential ignited – through scholarships to participate in extracurricular activities. It also includes targeted scholarships at the University of Minnesota.

Community Involvement

To enrich lives in the geographic areas in which the True North Family Foundation operates, we support community activities and organizations that, in a spirit of giving and service, offer intensely effective and personal one-on-one relationships. We seek to have a spiritual impact on people, specifically through organizations that ignite and activate education and character building.

Character Building

We support the critical, life-changing work of organizations that focus on igniting and activating character development among youth, especially among youth at risk. Our goal is to see young people inspired and motivated to develop uncommonly exemplary character assets that help them succeed in life and, in turn, inspire the next generation and the next.

Ministry Priorities

The True North Family Foundation comes alongside ministries that are a blessing to our communities. We support relevant, purpose-driven, and impactful ministries that are committed to elevating individuals’ lives through education and community involvement. We especially admire organizations that multiply our support by igniting and activating character development.

“Being able to incorporate my golf game with scripture has been an amazing experience…The staff of CGF [College Golf Fellowship] have inspired me to get closer with the Lord, and this is all due to your support.”
