Ryan attended Harriet Bishop Elementary School and Eagle Ridge Middle School. He plans to attend the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and major in business. 

Ryan volunteered at Harriet Bishop Elementary helping students with homework. He also volunteered with Brain Power in a Backpack, at the Scott County Library and at his church. Ryan was a member of the orchestra and the National Honor Society at Burnsville High School.
